Add Clan Lindsay colour to a sofa, bed or armchair with this Highland wool-blend tartan throw. Woven from a 75% recycled wool / 25% mixed recycled fibre blend, it has the warmth and handle of a traditional Scottish tartan blanket, with recycled fibres instead of virgin wool. Use it as a sofa throw, an extra bed layer, a lap blanket on cold evenings, or a travel and picnic rug.
Lindsay tartan is instantly readable: a burgundy-red ground crossed with forest green and navy blue. It is the sett of Clan Lindsay of Angus (motto Endure fort — endure with strength) and one of the most wearable checks for interiors — rich enough to look heritage, dark enough to sit with oak, leather, cream and brass. Finished with 7 cm fringes for a proper Highland edge.

My review Isn't based on the quality of the product as i must say the quality is lovely, however my review is based on the customer service. I had accidently ordered the wrong colour as i wanted the dark maple and as that one being the first picture I didn't realize there was a drop down box to select different colours. So upon delivery i emailed as per the returns policy asking if i can send back the one i had received in exchange for the one i wanted. However i sent this email Friday as soon as i received the order and its now end of play on Monday and I've still not received an email to say they are processing my email or have been given options for a refund or exchange, When buying something it would be nice if the returns/exchange was seamless and stress free.
Love the Dark Maple blanket from Heritage of Scotland! Quality is wonderful and comes with info on the origins of the plaid. This one to represent the autumn colours of Canada.
