MacKellar is a Campbell sept name from Argyll, from the Gaelic Mac Ealair. The tartan itself is a later design, first recorded around 1930, with white and yellow lines marking the family’s link to Clan Campbell. In this Natural version the usual green, blue, yellow, white and black are muted, so the throw reads as heritage texture rather than costume tartan. It works with oak, linen, stone, cream and darker woods.
